Dr Fransi a specialist anaesthetist with over 20 years of experience. He obtained his anaesthetic fellowship in 2005 having rotated in major Victorian and NSW hospitals. Since then, he also obtained a post graduate diploma in perioperative echocardiography and a graduate certificate in perioperative medicine form the University of Melbourne.

During this time, he has worked as a consultant anaesthetist at St George public Hospital and in various private hospitals across Sydney. In his public work he provided anaesthesia for major cancer surgery and heart and lung operations.

His area of interest was techniques of minimising blood loss and point of care testing of coagulation. He was also involved in running the departmental meetings, organising preparation for the first part anaesthetic exams and reviewing formal projects at different times.

Currently Dr Fransi works in the private sector at different hospitals across Sydney. His areas of work involve upper and lower gastrointestinal surgery, bariatric ,major reconstructive plastic surgery and orthopaedic surgery. He participates regularly in the continuous professional development program run by the college of anaesthetists.
