Dr Andy Liew graduated in Medicine from the University of New South Wales in 1993. After an Internship and Residency at St George, Concord and Prince of Wales Hospital, Andy worked as a provisional fellow at the Royal Womens’ hospital and The Children’s hospital Randwick, before finishing his training as a Specialist Anaesthetist. In his time as a practicing specialist anaesthetist, he has worked and developed particular interest in various sub-specialty areas of anaesthesia including, upper GI, colorectal, urology, plastic faciomaxillary, paediatric otolaryngology and laparoscopic gynaecological surgery.

Dr Liew works in the St George area with various public and private hospital appointments in the South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Area Health Service.

He is multilingual in Malay, Indonesian, Cantonese and Mandarin. He has a keen interest in soccer, badminton, tennis and culinary delights of any persuasion.
