Dr Mark Stewart graduated in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 1987. After an Internship and Residency at St George Hospital, Mark worked in London before commencing his training as a Specialist Anaesthetist. During that time he worked in various sub-specialty areas of Anaesthesia including Obstetric Anaesthesia at Royal Women’s Hospital, Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia at St Vincent’s Hospital and Paediatric Anaesthesia at The Children’s Hospital, Westmead. Furthering his sub-specialty interest in Paediatrics, Mark undertook a Provisional Fellowship year at The Children’s Hospital before taking a position as part time Staff Specialist.

Dr Stewart currently lives and works in the St George area with various public and private hospital appointments in the South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Area Health Service. He has a particular interest in Anaesthesia for Paediatric Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and Major Gynaecological Surgery.
